Description
Hunts Farm House is a house dating from the 16th century, with alterations made in the 19th century. It features a timber frame with brick sheathing that is rendered above on the left-hand wing. The roofs are plain tiled and hipped, with a half hip on the left side. There is a large ridge stack on the right and another stack at the center of the left-hand return front. The building has an L-shaped plan with a projecting wing to the left. The windows are irregularly arranged casement windows, with two on the ground floor of the left-hand wing and two on each floor of the right-hand range. There are two pairs of panelled doors: one is located at the center of the right-hand wing under an open pediment hood supported by brackets, and the other is at the left end of the left-hand wing, set in a gabled half-open projecting porch with brick piers. Additionally, there is a catslide extension at the right-hand end.
