Description

The Old Cottage is a house dating from the 16th century, constructed with a timber frame and featuring a whitewashed rendered exterior. The roof is plain tiled and has an end ridge stack on the left side. The building stands two storeys tall and has 20th-century diamond pattern leaded windows, with two of these located on the first floor. A central 19th-century panelled door is set within a gabled porch supported by wooden brackets. At the rear, there is a catslide extension.

Inside, the complete timber frame is visible, including curved braces on the first floor, although some beams have been restored.
