Description

The property comprises two cottages, Bridge Cottage and Gabriel Cottage, dating to the 17th and 18th centuries. The cottages are constructed of red and blue brick, with plain tile roofs, featuring a ridge stack to the left and a stack to the rear of the right-hand cross wing. The building follows a T-shaped plan with a gable-fronted cross wing to the right. It has two storeys, with a brick flat band to the gable front and dentilled eaves to the right. The windows feature mixed glazing, with leaded lights to the gable front; there are four windows on the first floor. A 20th-century plank door is positioned to the right of the gable front (Gabriel Cottage), and another 20th-century plank door sits to the right of centre, set within a pent-roofed brick porch (Bridge Cottage). A 20th-century brick and tile-hung extension with a flat-roofed dormer is located at the right-hand end.
