Description

Ivy Cottage is a 16th-century cottage located on Smarts Heath Road in the Borough of Woking. The building features a timber frame with rendered infill on the right-hand return front and is sheathed in red and blue brick at the front. It has a half-hipped, plain tiled roof with end gablets and a central ridge stack. The cottage is two storeys high and has 19th-century casement windows, with two on the first floor and ground floor windows that are set under cambered heads. There is a central glazed door leading into a lobby entrance, which is sheltered by a 20th-century gabled brick porch. Additionally, there is a further part-glazed door to the right, which is part of a set-back garage addition.
