Description

The Old Oak Cottage is a 16th-century cottage located on Vicarage Road, in the Borough of Woking. It is a timber-frame building, with whitewashed brick infill to the return fronts and a 19th-century brick facade. The roof is covered in plain tiles and is half-hipped with gablets, featuring a centre ridge stack. The cottage has a single storey and an attic, with dormers under a hipped roof. It features casement windows, two on each floor, with the ground floor windows set under camber heads. A central plank door is set within a brick porch with a weatherboard gable.
