Description
This is a house located at 34 High Street in Old Woking. It dates from the 16th century, with some rebuilding from the 19th century at the front. The house features a timber frame with whitewashed brick infill on the return fronts and a brick front. It has a plain tiled half-hipped roof to the right, which includes gablets, and a stack at the rear left. The building is two storeys high with dentilled eaves. On the first floor, there are two 19th-century casement windows, while the ground floor windows are set under cambered heads. The central entrance is a leaded part-glazed door located under a flat hood porch supported by wooden brackets on a rendered wall that is approximately 18 inches high. The timber framing is exposed on the left-hand return front. There is a 20th-century garage extension that is set back on the right-hand side.
