Description

Rose Cottage is a 17th-century cottage located on the south side of High Street, Old Woking, within the Borough of Woking. The cottage is timber-framed with colourwashed rendered brick infill. It has a half-hipped roof covered in plain tiles, with an end stack on the right. The building is two storeys high. The first floor features two 20th-century leaded casement windows, and an angle bay window on the ground floor to the right. A planked door is positioned to the left of centre, sheltered by a flat hood. An early 19th-century addition is present to the left end, constructed of colourwashed brick with a slate roof and end stacks. This addition incorporates casement windows and a single-bar window protected by a flat hood on the ground floor.
