Description

This is a house, originally a single dwelling, now divided into two separate properties: Lea Cottage and Wey Cottage. The structure dates to the 16th century, with additions made in the 19th century. The right-hand side of the building is brick-clad, while the left-hand side is rendered. Both sections have plain tiled roofs, with a stack located to the left of the centre.

Wey Cottage, on the left, is two storeys high with an attic under a tile-hung dormer window. It features a flat band across the ground floor and a gable front bay on the left. Three 20th-century casement windows are visible on the first floor. A glazed door is situated at the left end within a catslide extension, and another part-glazed door is centrally positioned under a gabled porch supported by brick piers. The timber frame is exposed at the rear.

Lea Cottage, located on the right, has a gabled break and two 20th-century casement windows on the first floor. A part-glazed door is set within a tiled gable porch supported by wooden posts. A catslide extension is present at the rear.
