Description

The Grange is a house built around 1800. It features colourwashed stucco on the front and rendered sides, topped with a hipped slate roof that has rendered stacks at the left end and right of centre. The building is two storeys high and has a rusticated appearance on a rendered plinth. Its symmetrical facade has seven bays, with the central three bays recessed. The windows are glazing bar sash types, with wooden brackets and panels above on the first floor, and channelled voussoirs above the ground floor windows. The entrance includes a central six-panel door located under a flat porch hood supported by multiple columns with a quatrefoil section, which has string moulding at one-third and two-thirds of its height.
