Description

Moor Cottage is a house dating back to the 16th century, with a later extension added to the right side in the 20th century. It is timber-framed with whitewashed render infill, and herringbone brick infill to the chimney bay. The roof is tiled, with tile hanging on the gable of the 20th-century extension. The house has two storeys and four original framed bays, with a projecting gabled extension to the right. A stack is located to the right of the centre. There are three casement windows on the first floor, and one large six-light window to the right. The ground floor has three windows and a large window to the right. The first floor displays arch bracing. A door is situated to the right of the centre. A pentice extension is on the left, and wings extend at right angles from the rear.
