Description

Admers Cottage is a 18th-century cottage, possibly incorporating an earlier structure, with extensions dating to the 19th and 20th centuries. The construction is timber-framed. The front is faced with galleted sandstone block on the ground floor to the left, red and blue brick cladding above and to the ground floor to the right, and tile hanging on the first floor. The left-hand return front is rendered. The roof is tiled, half-hipped at the front and lower at the rear. The cottage is two storeys high, with a stack to the rear wing. There are three diamond-pane leaded casement windows on the first floor, and two cambered-head casements below. A 20th-century door is located to the right of centre, set within an arched surround and sheltered by a gabled hood on wooden supports. A wing extends at a right angle from the rear left.
