Description

Nos 1 and 2 Mead Lane are two-storey buildings that date from the 19th century, possibly earlier. Each building features one window bay and a central doorway. They have a tile roof, with the upper floor being tile-hung and the lower floor made of painted brick. The sash windows are three panes wide. Steps lead up to the doorways, which have ledged doors set in frames that are coupled under a sloping tile canopy supported on brackets. Nos 1 to 4, along with the garden wall to No 3, No 5, and Nos 12A and 14, form a group.
