Description

This early 19th century building at 69 West Street is a substantial three-storey and basement property. The front is colourwashed rendered, set on a projecting plinth, with strings at the first and second floor levels and flat, moulded eaves. It has a hipped slate roof and five windows on the upper floors. The ground floor has four windows and a central five-panel door with a plain rectangular fanlight, contained within a stone surround featuring panelled pilasters, an entablature, and a blocking course. Three moulded stone steps lead to the door, flanked by bollards. A basement window is also present. A footscraper is incorporated into the frontage. The building forms a group with numbers 66 and 73 West Street.
