Description

This is a barn located 25 yards northwest of Bethwin Farmhouse, dating from the 17th century with some rebuilding from the 18th century at the east end. The barn features a timber frame supported by a brick and stone base, with brick infill on the west end and brick rebuilding on the east. Above, it is clad in weatherboarding and topped with a half hipped plain tile roof. The structure is rectangular and consists of four bays with queen post construction. There is a 19th-century plank door on the first floor at the east end, while the north side has double carriage doors. Additionally, there are two catslide extensions with board doors on the south side.
