Description

This is a 17th-century barn that was rebuilt in the 18th century, located 30 yards north-west of Four Wents Farmhouse. It has a timber frame and is covered in weatherboarding, topped with a plain tiled roof that is hipped to the left and half-hipped to the right, featuring catslide outshots to the south. The roof steps down from left to right, with a tall hipped mid-storey on the south side. Inside, the barn consists of three bays; the left bay has 17th-century jowled posts, while the other two bays are from the 18th century. The left side features queen trusses, and the right side has queen posts, with curved braces present on the left.
