Description

Forge Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse, later used as a house, with significant alterations from the 19th century. It is timber-framed with red and blue brick cladding on the ground floor and tile hanging on the first floor. The roof is tiled, half-hipped, and features a tall brick stack positioned off-centre towards the rear. The front facade is slightly irregular, with three windows. The windows are a mixture of glazing bar sashes and casements; the first floor has mostly glazing bar sashes, with tripartite sashes flanking the centre. A central boarded door is topped with a flat hood.
