Description
Glassenbury Hill Farmhouse is a possible former hall-house that dates back to the 15th century but was clad in the 18th century. The building features a timber frame set on a red brick plinth, with a ground floor made of red and blue bricks and a first floor that is tile hung. The roof is a plain tiled hipped design with tall brick stacks positioned off-ridge to the front left and at the rear left end, as well as off-ridge to the rear right. The farmhouse has two storeys, with an irregular arrangement of three windows on the first floor and four windows on the ground floor, which include some 19th-century casements, some of which have lattice glazing. There is a boarded door with a plain wooden surround located to the right of centre. Additionally, there are three windows at the left-hand end of the front block. Inside, a substantial timber frame is visible.
