Description

This cottage, located 2 yards west of Burrell House, dates from the 17th century and features a timber frame covered in brick with tile hanging above. It has parallel range roofs with gable ends facing the lane and a brick stack positioned to the right of the roof valley. The building is one storey high with an attic, and there is one casement window in each gable on the first floor. A tile-hung dormer is situated on the right-hand return front. Access to the first floor is via an external wood staircase leading to a plank door at the rear. This cottage is included for its group value with Burrell House.
