Description

Lime Cottage is a house dating to the 17th century. It has a timber frame with thin timbers and whitewashed brick infill, covered by a plain tile roof. The original plan was of 4 bays, and a 19th century addition was built to the left of the gable front. The windows are largely casements, with two 20th-century bow windows on the ground floor. A 20th-century porch with a plank door is on the right end, and double doors are also present on the right. A plank door under a camber arch, with a dentil band to the eaves, marks the entrance to the left extension.
