Description

This is a mixed building, originally a house with projecting shop fronts. The rear section dates back to the 17th century, while the front facade was built in the mid to late 19th century. The rear of the building is timber-framed with brick infill, and has a plain tile roof. It is two stories high, featuring casement windows and a plank door in the return front. The front of the building is red brick with a hipped plain tile roof and dentilled eaves. It also has two stories and contains sash windows with glazing bars, set under gauged heads, with four windows on the first floor. A 20th-century double bow-fronted glazed bank facade is situated to the left, featuring a central panelled door and transom light. To the right is a glazed shop front with a centrally recessed glazed door.
