Description

Beckhams is a house located in Chiddingfold, dating from the early 19th century and is an encasement of an older dwelling. The building is constructed of brick and features a hipped slate roof. It has two storeys and a three-bay facade with glazing bar sash windows that are set under rubbed and gauged heads. The central projecting porch has a six-panel door topped by a traceried fanlight, with lotus half columns on either side supporting an entablature. The right-hand return front includes an angle bay. At the rear, there is a timber frame wing with brick infill, tile hanging above, and a plain tile roof.
