Description

The Lynchets is a house located on Chapel Lane in Upavon, dating from the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed of brick and features a slate roof. The building is two storeys high and has a three by two bay layout. The central entrance includes a six-panelled door that is sheltered by a swept lead canopy and a lattice timber porch. The windows are sixteen-pane sashes with gauged brick flat lintels, with the centre window on the upper floor being narrower than the others. The roof is hipped with wide eaves, and there are stacks on the internal walls. Additionally, the central bay has been extended to the rear in the 20th century.
