Description

The White House is a house dating to around 1830. It is built with stucco over brickwork, and has a slate roof. The house is two storeys high, with a three-window frontage and a two-window side. The central entrance has a wide, half-glazed door with a radial fanlight above. A gabled porch was added in the 20th century. The upper windows are sash windows with sixteen and nine panes. The ground floor windows are sash windows with twelve panes, and may have been replaced in the later 19th century; they have concealed boxes. They are set beneath wedge lintels. The roof is hipped, with wide eaves. A single-storey extension to the left was formerly used as a bakehouse and shop.
