Description
Bildens is a house dating from the 17th century, with an extension added to the left in the 20th century. The building features a timber frame, with the right side underbuilt in whitewashed brick and whitewashed brick and render infilling above the exposed frame. The extensions to the left are also made of whitewashed brick and have plain tiled roofs that step down and set back. The house is two storeys high on the right, with an end stack and an oversailing gable to the left, and a rear stack on the right. The structure consists of three framed bays, with some arched bracing visible on the first floor. The windows are arranged irregularly, with three on the first floor and four below. To the left, there is a glazed door situated in a gabled brick porch. A linking range is set back to the left, featuring a pentice extension across the ground floor that projects to a gable end wing on the left. Additionally, there is a further wing at right angles to the rear.
