Description

Nos. 93 and 94 on West Street are late 18th-century buildings. No. 93 is a two-storey structure made of red brick, set on a projecting plinth. It features a moulded wood cornice supported by pairs of brackets and has an old tiled roof. The first floor has five windows, while the ground floor has four, with most glazing altered except for the central window on the first floor. The central entrance door has six panels and a rectangular fanlight with a double curved pattern. This door is set in a panelled reveal with an architrave surround, featuring panelled pilasters, console brackets, and a small cornice that breaks forward over the brackets and pediment.

No. 94 is a modern extension to the right, which has a slightly projecting bay at the corner. It shares a similar character and design with No. 93, including a cornice that extends over the bay into a segmental curved pediment. The bay features a central Palladian window on the first floor and a three-light window below it. There is a modern door to the left, set in a doorcase with a worn architrave, a curved frieze, and an enriched cornice and pediment.

Nos. 75 to 94, including Nos. 86A and 88A, form a group.
