II GV Formerly Farnham Grammar School. Front to West Street of 2 storeys, 4 bays. The East bay of this built in 1872; the remainder rebuilt about 1895 according to the design of Paxton Watson. End bays project forward and have gabled attic storeys; stone string courses. Red tiled roof. Yellow brick front. Projecting plinth; stone quioins and dressings. Transomed and mullioned windows. From left to right in gabled attic storeys, small lancet window in left hand end bay and small 2-light casement window in right hand end bay. Elsewhere windows in two tiers. In left hand end bay, window of 4 light on 1st floor, each light with pointed head; dripstone. Band below bearing the following inscription: "1611. Schola Grammaticalis. 1872" On ground floor, 3-light window; square headed stone doorway; single-light window. Bay 3 has 1 window of 4 lights on both 1st and ground floors. Bay 4 at right hand end, has windows of 4 lights aboveand of 5 loghts below. Wrought iron lamp bracket and quadranglar light below. (See N Temple, "Farnham Buildings and people Pg. 145)
