89, West Street

No. 89 on West Street is a late 18th-century building that stands three stories tall. It is constructed of brick and features a projecting plinth. A stone string course runs along the first floor level, and there are moulded and coved wood cornices at the top. The building has a brick parapet with stone coping.

On the upper floors, there are three windows, while the ground floor has two windows and a six-panel door located to the right. This door is adorned with a radiating and curved fanlight set within arched panelled reveals. It has a narrow architrave that springs from the doorhead and extends around the reveals. The wood doorcase is supported by engaged fluted Doric columns and features a broken entablature with roundel ornamentation on the frieze, topped with an open pediment.

No. 89 is part of a group that includes Nos. 75 to 94 (consecutive), which also encompasses Nos. 86A and 88A.
