Description

No. 83 on Pyle Street is an early 19th-century building that stands five storeys tall. It features a chequered brick façade with red brick dressings. The roof has a low pitch and is covered with slate, complemented by a shallow wooden eaves cornice. On the second floor, there is one recessed sash window with intact glazing bars, block sills, and flat brick arches. The entrance consists of a recessed door with six fielded panels, two of which are glazed, framed by a wooden case with thin pilaster strips and a bracketed hood. Nos. 81 to 83 form a cohesive group.
