Description

No. 81 on Pyle Street is an early 19th-century building featuring three storeys of painted brick. It has a low-pitched gable end slate roof and a shallow wooden eaves cornice. The first floor has one recessed sash window with intact glazing bars, flat brick arches, and block sills. The mid-19th-century shop front is framed with Doric pilasters, a fascia, and a cornice, and includes a three-light window. There is a later door with a blind rectangular fanlight above it. Nos. 81 to 83 form a group.
