Description
The stable block located in the south-east corner of Borelli's Yard dates from the 18th century and is two storeys high with roughly three bays. It features a tiled gabled roof and is clad in brick. On the first floor, there are very small easement windows in the center, and to the right, there are two-light leaded casement windows. On the ground floor, slightly segmental-headed doorways are located to the right of center, framed with moulded architraves and wooden boarded doors. The north gable end has one window bay with two-light casement windows that have small panes. Attached to the right end and projecting forward is a timber-framed outbuilding with brick cladding, which has a much lower frontage and a tiled roof. There is a wooden boarded door at both the upper and lower levels on the left end of this outbuilding. This stable block is part of a group that includes the east fronts of Nos 35 and 36, the stable blocks in the south-east corner, and the stone setts in Borelli's Yard.
