Description
The stable block, now a dwelling, dates from the 18th century and has been altered. It is constructed of brick and features a slate mansard roof with dormers behind a parapet. The building has a rectangular plan with one main storey and an attic storey, comprising five bays. The ground-floor openings are set within tall, round-arched recesses, with the outer ones now featuring pediments; the left side has been adapted for a garage, while the right side has a bay window extension. There is a segmental-arched doorway in the central bay, with a scrolled, segmental-pedimented window above that breaks through the parapet. The sash windows, which have glazing bars and are set in flush frames, are not original. A cornice runs above the ground floor. The interior has not been inspected. The property also includes old red brick walling as subsidiary features.
