Description

The stable block, built in the late 18th century to early 19th century, is a one-storey structure with a loft. It features a symmetrical long front facing southwest, with two-storeyed cross wings that have gables. The central entrance slightly projects and has a gabled design, with access to a hay-loft above the doorway. The building has a tile roof and brick dentil eaves that extend along the pediment and gable verge, serving as a second-floor string in the wings, which is raised in the center as a hood-mould. The walls are made of red brick in English bond, with a first-floor band, rubbed flat arches, cambered openings, and a plinth. Most of the windows are cast metal casements. Additionally, there are two modern garage openings, and the south wing has been converted into a residence.
