Description

Bell Cottage is a house located on College Road, dating from the mid-18th century and altered since its construction. The building is weatherboarded and features a pitched tiled roof with external stacks at the gable ends. It has two storeys and five bays, with a central entrance. The entrance includes an eight-panelled door with plain reveals, framed by a timber Doric doorcase that has fluted pilasters, a triglyph frieze, and a mutule cornice, which continues as a string course across the front. The cottage has shutters on its eight-pane sash windows, which include glazing bars. The interior has not been inspected.
