Description

Greet Cottage is a house located on Bailgate in Lincoln, dating from the late 17th century and late 18th century. The building is constructed of stucco with a colourwashed finish and features a 20th-century concrete tile roof with a gable stack. It may have originally been timber framed. The cottage has two storeys plus attics and consists of two bays.

On the left side, there is a close boarded entry door with sidelights, set in a wooden surround that includes Doric pilasters and a cornice. To the left of this entry, there is a smaller door. On the right side, there is a glazing bar sash window, and above it are two smaller glazing bar sashes. Above these windows, there is an off-centre segment headed dormer that contains a two-light sliding sash window. The interior has not been inspected.
