Description

This is a mid-18th century house with alterations from the mid-19th century. It is located on the west side of Bailgate, Lincoln. The house is constructed of brick, which is whitewashed, and has a pantile roof topped with a single gable stack. The eaves are cogged, and the gables are coped with kneelers. The building is two storeys high plus attics, and has two bays. A 20th-century door with an overlight is situated on the front, along with a boarded entry door to the left. To the right of the main door is a pair of plain sash windows, all with segment-headed arches. Above these, two segment-headed sash windows are present, each with a keystone. Further above are two gabled dormers, each containing a casement window. The interior of the house has not been inspected.
