Description

Three mid-18th century and early 19th century houses and shops, now used as three separate dwellings. The buildings are constructed of brick with pantile roofs, featuring two ridge stacks and a single side wall stack. A rendered plinth and stone steps lead to the front, with dentilled eaves providing detail. A first-floor band runs along the front of numbers 32 and 33.

The buildings are two storeys high with attics, extending over four unequal bays. Number 31, on the left, has a half-glazed fielded panelled door set within wooden jambs. To the left of the door is a 19th century plain sash window, and to the right a shop window with a glazing bar and a close-boarded entry door. On the first floor are two 2-light sliding sash windows, and above them a dormer with a matching sash.

Numbers 32 and 33 feature a pair of three-light shop windows with wooden mullions and transoms, pilasters, and an entablature. These are flanked by single moulded doorcases with cornices and recessed panelled doors, with a plainer doorcase to the right. Above the shop fronts are two segment-headed glazing bar sashes. Two flat-roofed dormers, each containing a casement window, sit above the first floor.

The interiors have not been inspected.
