Description
This is a late 18th-century house, later used as a shop and house. The building is constructed of brick with a pantile roof and a tall central chimney stack. It is two storeys high with attics, and has two bays. A late 20th-century shopfront occupies the ground floor, featuring two windows, a single door on either side, and a boarding door to the right, all beneath a shared fascia. Above the shopfront are two segment-headed sash windows with 12 panes each. The attic space is lit by two lead-roofed dormers; one has a fixed 16-pane window and the other a sliding sash. The interior of the building was not inspected. It is included on the list for its contribution to the group value of the area.
