Description
This is a 17th-century barn located 20 metres to the north-east of Coneyhurst House. It has been repaired and reclad in 1988. The barn features a timber frame set on a sandstone plinth, with red brick infill below and weatherboarding above, topped with a plain tiled roof. There is a catslide extension made of brick and sandstone at one end. The barn has central opposing doors beneath drip hoods, five framed bays, a stable door at one end, and breathers in the brick infill. Inside, it has a queen-strut, clasped purlin roof with braces to the tie beams.
