Description
Mundy's Hill is a house dating from the late 16th century. It has a timber frame that is exposed on the right-hand return front gable, with whitewashed brick infill. The front is clad in whitewashed brick, and there are brick extensions to the left and rear. The roof is plain tiled and the house is two storeys high, with a single-storey extension built at right angles to the street. There is a stack at the junction with the left extensions, ridge stacks on the extensions, and a large stack at the rear.
The first floor features three leaded casement windows, while the ground floor has one cambered-head window with hexagonal lights and cambered head casement doors to the right. There is a stable door in the centre under a pentice porch, and a pentice on the ground floor to the left. At the rear, there is a brick and tile hung wing at right angles, which has three gables and an angle bay on the right-hand return front.
