Description
Wyndrums is a house that has been converted into part garage. It dates from the late 16th century and has 19th and 20th-century extensions. The building features a timber frame that is exposed at the bottom with whitewashed brick infilling, while the upper part is clad in whitewashed roughcast. There is a sandstone rubble extension at the front left and the roofs are plain tiled, with a half-hipped design on the right side. The structure has a T-shaped plan with a wing extending to the left. It stands two storeys high and includes a large corbelled stack at the rear right and a rendered side stack on the left. On the right side, there is one window on the first floor and two on the ground floor, while the right-hand gable end has one window on each floor. The gabled wing to the left features two first-floor windows and has flat-roofed extensions in front that contain a large bow window. There is a jetty on the north side of the wing (the right-hand return wall) with one ground floor window and a door located in the re-entrant angle. A garage pavilion is situated at the front.
