Description

This building is a barn, now used as a studio, dating from the 16th century and altered in the 20th century. It has a timber frame set on a brick plinth, with weatherboard and brick cladding, topped by a plain tiled roof. The barn consists of four framed bays and features opposing entrances to the left of the center; one entrance is glazed, while the other, located at the rear, has been converted into a fireplace. The left end of the barn is floored and now serves as a gallery, and there is a wing projecting to the left. This structure is included in the listing for its group value only.
