Description

This barn, located to the east of Wykehurst Farm House, dates from the late 16th century and has 18th-century alterations. It has been converted into a games room and accommodation in the 20th century. The structure is timber framed and covered in weatherboard, featuring a plain tiled roof that is half-hipped on the left side and has a hip and catslide on the right. There is a 20th-century stack at the right end. The barn has irregular leaded windows with five across the front, a door to the left, and a stable door to the left of center, which replaces the former opposing waggon doors. A large leaded casement window is located at the rear. The barn is included in the listing for its group value.
