Description
This barn, located to the northwest of the coach house, dates from the 18th century and has some alterations from the 19th century. It was converted around 1980 and is now used as a studio and storage room. The structure is built from coursed gritstone rubble, with gritstone dressings and quoins, and features a 20th-century concrete tile roof. There is a stone side wall stack, and the building has moulded stone copings and kneelers. It stands two storeys high and consists of two bays. On the east elevation, there are two early 19th-century windows with flush surrounds, and a single light window to the north. Above, to the south, there is a hayloft door, and to the north, a three-light flush mullion window with small paned lights. This barn is included in the listing for its group value.
