Description

The structure consists of walls, gatepiers, and water troughs located to the east of Eyam Hall, dating from the 19th century. They are made of coursed squared tooled gritstone, featuring triangular sectioned copings and the tops of the gatepiers. The wall encloses a sheep pen to the west and extends in front of the Plague Cottages to the east. There are four sets of gatepiers. To the west, the wall is set back to incorporate two large stone troughs, with one being lower than the other. This structure is included for its group value only.
