Description
This barn, located 40 metres to the northeast of Coneyhurst Farm House, dates back to the 18th century and was converted into a house in 1986. It features a timber frame set on a brick plinth, with weather-board cladding and a plain tiled roof. The north side has a gabled entrance porch with two small windows to the left and a ridge stack. The south side includes a glazed cart door with a modern door next to it, flanked by two-light windows. Above is a gabled weather-boarded dormer. Inside, the barn has a complete four-bay frame, an inserted brick chimney, and a gallery. The original throughway has been blocked on the north side, and there is diagonal bracing in the wall panels. The roof is a queen strut design with braces to the ties. This building is included for its group value.
