Description

This building is a barn, now converted into a house, located about 8 metres north of Barn Cottage. It dates from the 18th century or earlier and features a timber frame set on a base of flint and brick, with weatherboarding and a thatched roof. The roof is half-hipped with a hipped midstrey. The original central cart doors have been replaced with full-height mullioned glazing, and there is a mullioned window to the left. On the rear elevation, which now serves as the entrance, there is a four-centred arched door flanked by mullioned windows on both sides. The interior was being converted at the time of the survey and was obscured.
