Description

Southdown House is an early 19th-century house with an earlier, probably timber-framed interior. The exterior is of painted brick with a plain tiled roof, and a tile-hung right return. The building is two storeys high, with a hipped roof to the left and a gabled roof to the right, and stacks at the rear and the end of the right side. It features two margin-light sashes on each floor, and a central half-glazed door with a pilaster surround and cornice. The building is listed for its group value.
