Description
This barn, located approximately 5 meters northeast of Tigbourne Farm House, dates back to the 17th century and has undergone alterations in the 18th and 19th centuries, with restoration in the 20th century. It features a timber frame set on a sandstone rubble plinth to the left, with renewed weatherboard cladding and a plain tiled roof that extends down in a catslide to the right half. The structure consists of five framed bays, with a fixed window to the left and two doors below. There is an additional door to the right in an outshot, and a gabled midstrey is located at the center. The interior has been re-roofed, showcasing queen strut trusses and some arched braces on the angle posts. This barn is included for its group value.
