Description
This is a late 18th-century cottage pair, with alterations from the 19th century. The left-hand cottage is timber framed, while the right-hand cottage is built with galleted, coursed ironstone and brick bonding. The roof is tiled, with rendered stacks at the ends. The cottages are two storeys high, with three casement windows on the first floor. The ground floor has one horizontal sliding sash window to the left and a cambered head casement window to the right. A planked door is situated to the left of centre (number 6), sheltered by a corrugated plastic porch hood supported on wrought iron scroll brackets. A part-glazed plank door is on the right of centre, also under a flat porch hood with brackets.
