Description
Fern Cottage, Registry Cottage, and White Hart Cottage form a row of cottages dating from the early to late 18th century. They feature a brick and rubblestone plinth with red brick above, accented by blue headers. The cottages have a plain tiled roof that is hipped at the left end, with a ridge stack to the left, another ridge stack left of center, and a front stack to the right. The buildings are two stories high, with a plat band over the ground floor to the left of center. The first floor has four leaded casement windows, with two on the left set in cambered arches, while the ground floor windows are under cambered heads. The entrance to the left, which leads to Forge Cottage, has a half-glazed door. To the left of center, Registry Cottage has a part-glazed door under a cambered head, and to the right, White Hart Cottage features a part-glazed planked door in a moulded surround, sheltered by a flat porch hood with trellis and wood sides.
